Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Usetimio (“Service”), operated by Spent Digital Labs (“Usetimio”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent.
1. The Service
Usetimio provides cloud-based attendance and workforce management tools, including check-in via QR code, Timio ID, GPS, and biometrics; reporting; payroll exports; and communication features. Features available to an organization depend on its subscription plan.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Organization admins are responsible for the accounts and data of their own staff and end users.
- Notify us immediately at info@usetimio.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate the privacy or rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another organization's data or accounts.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written authorization.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including via automated bots, scraping, or excessive request volume.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or resell the Service without our written consent.
4. Subscriptions & Payment
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis as described at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access after any applicable grace period, as described in-product.
5. Customer Data
As between you and Usetimio, your organization retains all rights to the attendance and employee data you input into the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide the Service to you. You represent that you have the necessary rights and consents to submit Customer Data, including personal data of your employees or members, in compliance with applicable data protection law. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
6. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and features may change over time. Where the Service supports offline check-in, data syncs once connectivity is restored.
7. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct that risks harm to the Service or other users, with notice where reasonably practicable.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Usetimio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated to organization admins by email where reasonably practicable.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by mandatory law applicable to you.
